Motorhomes also need serviced and it is your responsibility to ensure your vehicle
is roadworthy and serviced annually as recommended by the base vehicle's manufacturer.
The internal habitation equipment such as cookers, heaters and fridges, electrical installations (mains and battery) all require regular safety checks.
In any case, most manufacturer's warranties for such equipment will only remain valid if you have your vehicle serviced annually. It is very important to protect your investment.

Do you know that the Gas appliance inspection carried out by the manufacturer and the certificate given with new vehicles is ONLY valid as a Gas Safety Certificate for 1 year from the date of manufacture?
'No!! Well read on and we will explain.......
Under current UK Gas Regulations (and UK law), ALL Leisure Accomodation Vehicles which have onboard Gas Appliances, (and are available for rent or hire) MUST BE INSPECTED, tested and have a Gas Safety Certificate issued by a GAS SAFTETY REGISTER, registered Engineer. These certificates are valid for 12 months and must be obtained yearly by the vehicles Landlord/Owner.
All leisure vehicles (which are available for rent or hire), MUST displayed in a prominent position within the vehicle at have a current and valid Gas Safety Certificate all times! (in order to comply with UK Law!)
