I am so sorry it has taken me so long to get around to sending this email. I just wanted to say thank you for sorting out our Motorhome.
 
Firstly thank you Alan (Auto - sleepers) for your professional approach and finding the resolution to our problems. We were extremely unhappy with the responses we had from Perthshire caravans and had assumed their attitudes toward us reflected Auto-sleepers customer service. You have, therefore, not only helped us resolve the leaky roof-light but have also restored our faith in Auto-sleepers.
 
Secondly a big thank you to everyone at MacPhails. Excellent standards of work and outstanding customer service. We will certainly be back for our annual service and have already recommended you to a couple of motor-homing friends.
 
We hope you all have a good Christmas and a happy and prosperous new year.

After dealing with the supplier of my motor home and getting the run around over warranty issues it was great to find Mac Phails Motorhome Workshop.The service received has always been impeccable and very friendly. MacPhails have just serviced my caravan and i am delighted with the result. Having purchased my caravan down south i was not  aware that i could have my van serviced by  a local garage that would still look after my Swift warranty.   Hi Joe, Just a note to let you know that once again we are delighted with the work you did on 'Van Morrison' before we left the UK again on our travels. The awning rail is a great success and without you being a Swift agent we would probably still be haggling with them about replacing the window under warranty. Having the habitation service and report done does give us peace of mind that the gas etc is safe. As always it's a pleasure to bring 'Van Morrison' to you as your work and service is always the same high standard.Hope all is going well with you and we'll see you when it's time again for 'Van Morrison's' service.

Motorhome City is the largest motorhome hire company in Scotland and have recommended McPhails Motorhome and Caravan Workshop to all of our Scottish clients. Joe and Karrena are exceptional people and having used their services for a number of years, we fully recommend them to motorhome hire clients, as they will always try and accomodate you, especially when you are working to deadlines and have to have a repair carried out to get a motorhome back out on the road. Other motorhome repair companies in Scotland are not as accomodating. We cannot speak highly enough of this company.

Just a note to say thank you for the habitation check you did on our van. You explained everything really thoroughly and it's good to know we can go off for the season now in a sound van with a heater that works again.  We will definitely be booking it in with you next year.

Joe (the engineer) is the kind of person who will go through a problem over the phone to try and get you to solve the problem yourself (water not coming out of a tap), just to save you money on call out charges.

MLVS charges are below the dealerships and motorhome service centre's, and Joe will go way beyond the call of duty to get to you, even in his own time, to assist when necessary.

-"It is the 1600 - and I have to say that the efoy is fantastic; it power's everything, primarily it allows us to remain off hook-up for weeks at a time. We use it in conjunction with a inverter to power laptops, hardrives and recharge batteries etc (we are photographers...). And we have never run out of electricity! The 10L cartridge lasts months in the summer and in the alps over christmas and new year we used about a third of a 10L in three weeks.I don't know why everyone with a campervan/motorhome doesn't have one.Best regards Craig" from Bristol, England. 


"Hi,We have Autocruise Motorhome Star Quest, purchased at the Birmingham Show through South Yorkshire Caravans, 2 Jan 2009. (We met you, MacPhails Leirure Vehicle Services,at the SECC Exhibition in Glasgow in Feb 2009). It is under warranty, and the retracting steps have fused (50 amp) Peugot dealer in Glasgow could/would not fix it, when it was in for ABS brake fault. South Yorkshire Motorhomes are aware of the problem which arose on the day of delivery, along with brake fault with ABS (now fixed) We have also drawn their attention to the lack of leisure lighting in the front driver's cabin area, and the fact that there is no heating vents to the front area of the van.Brian Marriot, our sales contact in South Yorkshire Motor Homes has raised the matter with Autocruise, who have taken our complaints on board, and who have agreed to modify all future vehicles in the light of our comments. They have agreed to modify our vehicle at their  expense.At present there has been an delay( 3 months) in waiting for 'the parts' to fix the van, in addition to having no safe access to the rear of the van. Also, South Yorkshire are now too busy to book us in for fixing the step, prior to end of April. We are due to take elderly relatives on a trip to Wales at the beginning of April, and at present the only access to the campervan is through the front cab driver/passenger door!! -

-My husband and I were very impressed with your own new company at the show, and would be delighted if you could fix the step and the lights prior to our departure in April, under warranty, with Autocruise consent."

The problem was fixed and-

We are delighted to have it functioning and most grateful for your expertise. I know you did not propose to render a bill but i am enclosing a cheque to make some compensation for your fuel and the time sorting our problem. As i said, i had only purchased the motorhome from Discover Leisure the previous day and was dismayed to find that the heating wasn't working.
