Why do we exhibit at the Caravan Show?

The answer is really quite simple; we love to interact with people and inform you of your right to have a choice and be able to have your touring caravan or motorhome serviced and looked after by the garage of your choice in Scotland.

Dealers will tell you that in order to keep your warranty valid that you MUST return year after year to your supplying dealer for them to service your vehicle and that if you use another workshop that you will in-avertedly invalidate your warranty! Well, we for one know that this is a lot of, shall we say'.., nonsense! They simply have sold you a vehicle, and will tell you this because they want your business back again and again-leaving you, the customer, with no alternative choice but to return. Without knowing or understanding your rights you believe that you therefore must return to your supplying dealer year after year, after year.......

 Do you believe in ' Freedom of Choice'?

We do.. and as long as you get your vehicle serviced annually at either an Approved Workshop or at a manufacturer Dealer Workshop then hey, ho on ye' go!.... Hmmm, only one snagging problem there - Most Dealers in Scotland wont let you in if you purchased your vehicle from a Dealer down south!!! See scenario below, Does this ring a bell?

Customer - ''Can i get my ........ Caravan serviced at your Workshop. My 1st service is due......?''

Dealer - ''Did you purchase your vehicle from us sir, are you a customer of ours?''

Customer - ''Er, no, i bought my ...... vehicle from a Dealer down South, but why should i have to travel all the way back to ......when i can just pop it over to you, i only stay about .....miles from you.''

Dealer- ''If you are not an existing customer then i am sorry there is no availability here, Goodbye!''   

This is where we, The Motorhome & Caravan Workshop, step in -  we are entirely independent of any Manufacturer and are a fully Approved Workshop, but we can still take care of your warranty issues and ensure the conditions of your warranty are adhered to. And Guess what?.....We really don't care where you bought your vehicle from! We care about YOU. We all have rights and it's good to know them - Don't be bullied by your Dealer.
