The Scottish Caravan & Outdoor leisure Show, SECC, Glasgow;  Feb 2010

Well we did it again. This was our second year exhibiting at The Scottish Caravan & Outdoor Leisure Show and we thoroughly enjoyed it and we hope you did too.

It was certainly great to see so many familiar faces and some new ones too. We would personally like to thank existing customers who booked with us again this year and say thanks to all new customers who have booked in for 2010 servicing.

A big thank you to our existing customers who support us and who also brought new customers to us via word of mouth.

Word of mouth is great and we know we must be doing something right - Last year (2009) Word of mouth was how we operated and survived our first full trading year in business.

To date we still have not advertised in any major magazine or publication due to existing customers passing on the word - ''Aye, we Scots know how it's done!''

Due to the fact that we are no longer mobile and now operate from our workshop facility we may have to spread the word through a wee bit of generalised advertising this year, watch out for us popping up here and there..

If anyone knows of any good popular Scottish magazines/Rally handbooks that are worthwhile reading, please let us know and it may be worth our while putting a wee ad' in.

We are planning to do a press release soon; to hopefully tell others we are here - we need to get the word out about the new INDEPENDENT Workshop in Scotland where we can take in any vehicle from any manufacturer, regardless of age or where purchased from - from old to new, we cater for all.....

We were at Stand K23 this year and for us the show was good. We managed to sell some motor movers and satellites and booked ourselves right out - We are currently booked out for March and April and May is getting pretty full. We have pre-booked bookings into July!

Apologies to those who were expecting our popular 'mobile' service again this year - we are sorry that we cannot accomodate this service this year, due to our stationary move. We are expecting to employ and train someone new who can continue to carry out this side of the business. Watch this space.

Here are some photos from this years show and we would also like to say thanks to all who helped us out this year.

Thank you to Amperor Products, who kindly let us display their solar panels for viewing at our stand and to LCS Leisure for the dummy sat system and to Grove Products for their EFOY display.

Thank you to all family members who helped out and special thanks to J Allan, our joiner, for all his own free time to come along and help out at the stand - all was appreciated as we did get very busy at times.

We would also like to say a very special thanks to Ducans Caravans (Wishaw) who during 2009, referred the customers that they could not help to us.

Thank you to J G Trading (Hobby Dealers) for all their 2009 referrals

and to all of you who spread the word - Lets hope 2010 is the same.....
